Privacy policy
Effective October 1, 2026
PipeHalo LLC ("PipeHalo," "we," "us") provides software that analyzes advertising and sales pipeline data for business customers. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
The short version: we use the data you connect only to provide PipeHalo to you. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, we do not use it to train AI models, and you can disconnect or delete it at any time.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors to pipehalo.com and to people who use the PipeHalo service on behalf of a business customer. When a business customer connects its accounts to PipeHalo, that customer controls the data and we process it on the customer's behalf under our agreement with them.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details you send us, such as your name, work email, company and message, when you email us or request a pilot.
- Account details when you sign up, such as your name, work email, company name and role.
- Billing details for paid plans. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Information from accounts you connect
When an authorized user connects an advertising or CRM account, PipeHalo receives read-only access through that platform's official API, using permissions the user approves. Depending on what is connected, this includes:
| Platform | What we read |
|---|---|
| LinkedIn Ads | Ad account details and campaign, ad and audience settings and performance metrics, such as spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, frequency and audience size. Company-level engagement reports where available. |
| Google Ads | Account, campaign, ad group, ad and keyword settings and performance metrics, such as spend, impressions, clicks and conversions. |
| Meta Ads | Ad account details and campaign, ad set and ad settings and performance metrics, such as spend, reach, frequency, clicks and conversions. |
| Salesforce and HubSpot | Opportunity or deal records, including amount, stage, dates, source and campaign fields, and the related account or company name. Contact-level fields are read only when needed to link a deal to its source. |
We do not post, edit, pause or create anything in connected accounts. We do not access private messages.
Information collected automatically
Our website and service record basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, for security, troubleshooting and service reliability. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on pipehalo.com.
How we use information
- To provide the service: importing and organizing connected data, detecting issues, generating explanations and recommendations, producing reports and sending the weekly brief.
- To operate and secure the service: authentication, preventing abuse, troubleshooting and monitoring.
- To communicate with you about your account, the service, and pilots you asked about.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information or connected-account data. We do not use connected-account data for advertising, to build profiles of individuals, or to train or improve general-purpose AI models.
AI processing
PipeHalo uses Anthropic's Claude models through Anthropic's commercial API to write explanations, recommendations and summaries. We send only the data needed for each task. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through the API is not used to train its models.
Google user data
PipeHalo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Ads data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of PipeHalo, we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the service, comply with law or as part of a merger or acquisition, and we do not use it for advertising. Humans do not read this data unless you give permission, it is needed for security or legal reasons, or it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run PipeHalo, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Website and application hosting |
| Supabase | Database, authentication and file storage |
| Anthropic | AI processing of explanations and summaries |
| Google Workspace | Business email and documents |
| Email delivery provider | Sending the weekly brief and account emails |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of PipeHalo or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the transferred information.
Data retention and deletion
- Connected-account data is kept while the connection is active and your account is open, so we can show trends over time.
- When you disconnect an account, we stop collecting from it immediately. You can ask us to delete data already collected from it.
- When a customer account is closed, we delete its connected-account data within 30 days, except for limited records we must keep by law. Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.
- To request deletion, email privacy@pipehalo.com.
Revoking access
You can disconnect any platform from within PipeHalo. You can also revoke PipeHalo's access directly from each platform:
- Google: Google Account third-party access
- LinkedIn: Settings, then Data privacy, then Permitted services
- Meta: Business Settings, then Integrations, or Settings, then Business integrations
- Salesforce and HubSpot: your administrator can remove PipeHalo from connected apps
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, encrypted storage of access tokens, separation of each customer's data, role-based access, multi-factor authentication for our team, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected customers of a security incident as required by law and our agreements.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@pipehalo.com. If your information is in PipeHalo because your employer uses the service, we may direct your request to them. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
International transfers
PipeHalo is based in the United States, and our service providers process data in the United States. If you use PipeHalo from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Children
PipeHalo is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use connected-account data, we will notify customers before it takes effect.
